Students will be able to understand the Biblical need for succession planning, discover the difference between succession and retirement, and learn how to start preparing their church for it.
Students will gain clarity in their identity in Christ, learn what personal steps they need to take for succession planning.
Students will be able to implement succession preparation into their teaching and preaching.
Students will be able to equip leaders with the mission, vision, and values of the church.
Students will learn to create an external succession system, prepare a mature team, and help them determine the qualifications of a pastor.
Students will know how to pick prospective pastor for the church community.

Dr. Wilbert Baker has a Doctor of Ministry degree and serves as the Program Director of PACE Academy. He has several certifications in Biblical Counseling, Black Church Studies, Theology, and the Bible. Dr. Baker has been a pastor for over 30 years and serves as the Founder and pastor of Lakeland Missionary Baptist Church. |
