Over a third of pastors said they have no one outside of their household in whom they can confide about the things that stress them financially.

Upon Completion of this Badge, you should be able to:

Student will understand what the Bible teaches about money and why personal stewardship is important.
Student will develop the skill of creating a personal spending plan and understand the importance of “knowing” where your money is going.
Student will transition from being an owner to a steward and gain a paradigm shift to move toward financial freedom.
Student will learn to avoid excessive personal debt and avoid excessive church debt.
Student will discover the concept and difference between ministering for money versus ministering for the Master.
Student will learn to apply and hold oneself accountable by engaging in an authentic self-evaluation of financial status.
Students will develop a lifestyle without financial stress and train others to live out the principles of personal stewardship.

Meet Our Instructor

Dr. Wilbert Baker has a Doctor of Ministry degree and serves as the Program Director of PACE Academy. He has several certifications in Biblical Counseling, Black Church Studies, Theology, and the Bible. Dr. Baker has been a pastor for over 30 years and serves as the Founder and pastor of Lakeland Missionary Baptist Church.
